• New students complete their enrolment online with VIRTUAL ASSISTANCE, using a ZOOM videoconference link that each academic programme will send to students’ institutional email addresses.

Complementary Information Form

• You can complete the SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION FORM through the university’s institutional portal.
• Please note that completing this form is mandatory to continue with the admission process. Once your admission process has been completed, you will receive an email at your institutional address indicating your scholarship level and semester tuition cost.
• If you need assistance completing the Supplementary Information Form, please contact bienestarestudiantiluio@ups.edu.ec.

REQUIREMENTS

If any required document is missing, you must upload it through the platform by logging in HERE with your institutional username and password, under Enrolment Requirements.

• A colour photo or scan of a valid identification document: national ID card for Ecuadorian students or passport for international students.
• A photo or scan of the notarised high school diploma. (High school diplomas obtained abroad must be recognised or officially validated by the Ecuadorian Ministry of Education.)
• A photo or scan of the voting certificate, for students of legal age.
• A digital colour passport-size photo.

• Check the Enrolment Calendar according to your campus: EL GIRÓN, SUR, or CAYAMBE to verify the date on which you must complete your enrolment.
• Check the class schedules by academic programme at the end of this page.
• Online enrolment is completed by accessing each student’s personal page through the university portal (www.ups.edu.ec – Log In). The following web browsers are recommended: Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, and Safari.
• Remember that you must enrol in any pending courses from your first and second enrolment attempts in lower-level courses. If there are no available spaces in a lower-level course for your first or second enrolment attempt, you must complete the enrolment process with virtual assistance.
• The electronic invoice will be sent to your institutional email address. If you need the invoice to be issued in another person’s name, remember to enter the requested information before submitting your enrolment.

• Enrolment through the online request system applies to the following cases: conditional students and auditors, unified curriculum equivalencies, readmitted students, and regular students who have taken courses ahead of schedule.

• You can change your course group after completing your enrolment by making the required payment. This can be done during the first two weeks of classes of the current academic term.
• In exceptional cases where you were unable to change your course group online, you must submit a request in person to the Undergraduate Programme Director, attaching the documents that support your justification.
